After entering the video games industry at age 18 and spending the next 12 years in game development, 9 years spent as a sound designer, Fryda began her voice over career in 2013. Since then she has been featured in video games (Mass Effect: Andromeda as Sara Ryder, Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth as the Narrator, Killer Instinct as Mira, The Park as Lorraine), animation (DC Super Friends as Poison Ivy, Bratz as Jade, Justice League Action as Faora), and television (Sundance, National Geographic).
Fluent in Mexican Spanish thanks to a bicultural and dual nationality upbringing, Fryda also provides a voice directed at Latino audiences such as Disney’s Elena of Avalor ebook series and the Endless Spanish learning app. Fryda brings her heritage and personality to every role, holding firm to the belief that everyone deserves to see themselves represented in creative media.
#Inclusion2017 has panels with real time CC and ASL. This is something that should be commonplace in fandom conventions. Fandom events should be able to be enjoyed by all fans. Our spaces where we celebrate the genres we love, need to be accessible.
