Riyadh Khalaf is a seasoned TV Host and YouTube content creator. He is best known for fronting the ground-breaking BBC documentary series ‘Queer Britain’ which received both critical and public acclaim for its punchy exploration of the issues facing the LGBTQ+ community in the UK. Riyadh’s YouTube channel has amassed over 350,000 subscribers and almost 40 million overall views. His short-form videos showcasing his quick wit and Irish charm have made him an online favourite for young viewers all over the world. His viral videos have been featured on BuzzFeed, MTV, MSNBC, CNN, BBC, Channel 4, Huffington Post, Vanity Fair, E! News, MailOnline, Upworthy, The Guardian and many more.
Riyadh won the runner up award for Role Mode of The Year at the ICON Awards in Glasgow and his short film about elderly LGBT men was an official selection for Toronto’s Buffer Film Festival.
As the second largest gay online creator in the UK and Ireland, this year Riyadh was given the opportunity to discuss international issues of equality and cyberbullying with British Prime Minister, Theresa May and Prince William.
He has been working closely with 20th Century Fox on the upcoming release of teen romance movie ‘Love, Simon’. Riyadh was on set during the filming and will appear in the movie. He was a key online creator brought in to advise FOX production and marketing teams on LGBT themes within the film.
Earlier this year, Riyadh signed a book deal which will see him deliver a ground-breaking ‘bible’ for young gay boys. It will be a life guide covering everything from coming out, gay sex, dealing with bullies, suicidal thoughts, homophobic family members and how to find true authentic happiness.
For Riyadh, 2018 holds a new TV series and the launch of his own podcast series with one of the world’s biggest radio networks.
